The area of Elizabeth Park is prone to vandalism and graffiti and community and social issues, such as drug abuse and troubled families. There is a high proportion of broken families and youth offenders.
Services for young people in the Elizabeth region are quite limited. Elizabeth, and Elizabeth Park in particular, has growing youth crime and drug problems.
